JUST ONE DAY (Just One Day#1)
Synopsis:
Allyson Healey's life is exactly like her suitcase—packed, planned, ordered. Then on the last day of her three-week post-graduation European tour, she meets Willem. A free-spirited, roving actor, Willem is everything she’s not, and when he invites her to abandon her plans and come to Paris with him, Allyson says yes. This uncharacteristic decision leads to a day of risk and romance, liberation and intimacy: 24 hours that will transform Allyson’s life.

A book about love, heartbreak, travel, identity, and the "accidents” of fate, Just One Day shows us how sometimes in order to get found, you first have to get lost. . . and how often the people we are seeking are much closer than we know.

I was excited to read another Gayle Forman book after my 5 star ratings on If I stay and Where she went way back. i learned about the book through my sister who unfortunately have not yet read both books. shame.

Check out the book's synopsis (here)

The Beginning of the book was a bit of a drag and i really have to carry on the weight to be able to finish it.i did not like the main character allyson/lulu. Even the name allyson does not scream star potential hence the lulu switch which i deem appropriate for a more adventurous alter-ego. But the thing is, i am also not in-love with this Lulu character. It was very painful to hear about this depressed college kid who cannot move on with her life just because of a single day. i get it. they were in-love and he changed her but she's still a little mopey and whiny for my taste.

the best part about the book is when allyson
she is too whiny
cute
gusto ko yung iniwan sya.
i do love how the character grew to be more independent. she learned from her mistakes

it was a good read once you get past the first part.  i prefer allyson in the manhunt rather than the date itself which was supposed to be the l

i loved how travel

i loved how
